Booking Terms and Conditions - Keep for reference
Provisional bookings remain firm for one week pending written confirmation within 7 days ( you can print off the booking form), accompanied with a deposit equal to that of the first nights stay, if you are staying for one night only and having dinner please add the amount for dinner onto the accommodation or if you have given me a credit/debit card number I will keep your details and should you fail to turn up or cancel your booking you will then be charged as below (a 2% charge is added to a transaction when paying with a credit card).
Cancellation In the event of a cancellation (this also includes one member of a party canceling) please advise us immediately, we will make every attempt to re-let the room and return the deposit less a handling charge of £20 per room. Should we be unable to re-let the room you will then be charged for 2/3 of the total cost, plus any expenses already incurred e.g. food purchased prior to a cancelled booking. If one member of a party cancels and they have booked a double room, the room will then be charged at the single occupancy rate e.g. room rate of £70 for one nights B&B less £10 = £60.
Please visit www.guestfirst.co.uk for holiday insurance, which I strongly advise that you take out should you have to cancel.
Arrival and departure Your room will be ready for you to occupy between 4 and 8 p.m. and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of your departure. Please let me know your estimated time of arrival, so that we can make sure there is some here to greet you.
Guest Numbers: The number of people occupying a room must not exceed the number stated without written approval from myself Hilary Tucker.
Safety: The use of the accommodation and amenities including the farm, play area and garden is entirely at the guests risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the guests. Parents/Guardians must supervise their children at all times. Their safety is your responsibility.
Smoking: We are a no smoking establishment.
Pets: Sorry we do not accept any pets in the house, except guide dogs.
Breakfast is served from 7.30 - 9 am
Dinner is at 7.30 unless arranged otherwise and is by prior arrangement only.
Methods of payment
-Cash if possible
-Cheques with a valid guarantee card only to the value shown on the card (please make cheques payable to H J Tucker)
-Traveler's cheques in pound sterling
-Debit cards (no extra charge)
-Credit cards, (unfortunately I have to charge an extra 2% for this service e.g. a deposit of £50 incurs a £1 additional card). Please do not send credit/debit card details by e-mail
